The Ryzen 3 1200 is quite good performance, even stronger than not only  i3 7100 but also the G4560. The power of the Ryzen 3 1200 may be  between i3 and i5.
But except gaming, for single-user tasks such as Windows startup or Office, the G4560 does a lot better with smoother operation, while the Ryzen 3 1200 gives you a slightly flabby feel. Intel still has a good multi-core against rival AMD in every segment.
