The developer from Canada, The Coalition, has just released a massive update to the hit Gears of War 4.
This update is titled Rise of the Horde, weighs in at over 29 GB and after installed completely, the game’s capacity is compressed to 93GB (previously 120GB). Although this patch is slightly lighter than the February patches of up to 248.5GB, this is still quite massive for an update.
This update adds some skills to character classes and 2 new maps, raises the difficulty, and allows players to rank on Xbox and Windows to compete together to reach the highest possible position.
The Coalition also announced that a free trial will be held from June 9th to June 15th. It will provide 10 hours of totally free experience to new gunmen and allows them to play out all first Act of the campaign mode as well as access to Horde and Versus mode.
In addition, this update also adds improvements to multi-core GPU systems, removes the serious bug in Horde mode to prevent the player from exploiting the bug killing the team members, edits the voices of all Zombie characters, and some other miscellaneous enhancements.
The game was officially launched worldwide on October 11, 2016 and received positive reviews.
