According to Capcom’s latest release, Resident Evil 7 has sold over 3 million copies worldwide. Released on January 25, 2017, averaged over an hour, RE 7 sold 7300 copies.

Although this number is very impressive, however, compared to its predecessors Resident 5 and 6, RE 7 is still far behind. In particular, RE 5 hit 4 million copies in the first week and this number of RE 6 was 4.5 million. This decline in sales can be explained by two reasons. One is that the game has no co-op mode, and two is game was cracked very soon after the launch.

Resident Evil 7 is the next version of the horror series of the same name. The first version of this series was released in March 1996. With interesting content and gameplay, the game has received positive feedback from the world’s leading game magazines. Metacritic Review, Resident Evil 7 received an ultra-high score of 86/100. This is considered to be the highest score for a horror game over the past two years.

Standing in front of the huge shadow of the brothers, Resident Evil 7 certainly took a lot of pressure. However, it has done a very good its job. The classics of this game have returned. As expected by Capcom, sales of Resident Evil 7 will reach £4 million in March.
